Veteran Comedy Film Director, Norman Z. McLeod, was the man in the Chair for this half-hour portion. He had been the Director of large portions of the best comedies ever, including individuals like the Marx Brothers, W.C. Fields, Harold Lloyd and Danny Kaye. He was no more peculiar to TV, as he had done a considerable measure of work on Television Series.
It doesn’t give the idea that he and Mr. Keaton had ever cooperated before(as I can’t discover any confirmation of this)’ however judging by the result of the film, they succeeded in doing as such without a hitch! Any individual who coordinated Keaton knew that Buster was a fine comic drama Director and in addition a Comedy Player. He was pretty much as agreeable behind the camera as he was before it. Their short organization more likely than not been a concordant one, with ‘give and take’ about how to do things. It is clear that a considerable lot of the stiflers were Keaton’s, restored from his own Silent Picture Days. For instance, the stifler of putting some jeans on with Rollo’s(Stanley Adams help was finished by Keaton and Roscoe “Greasy” Arbuckle in one of the Arbuckle 2 Reelers, THE GARAGE (1919). That was an unmistakable case of his specialty more or less.
Buster realized that we film our reality with a camera, rendering it a two dimensional picture. This one truth is at the base of so a large portion of muffles. It is a Cardinal Rule for his film making.
The cast was little and at the end of the day simply packed with veteran ability. Stanley Adams was Rollo and served as Mr. Keaton’s straight man. Jesse White, the old ‘Maytag Repair Man’, ran the fix it shop that altered the ‘Time HJelmet’. Gil Lamb, peaceful veteran of RKO Short Comedy arrangement, was the 1890’s Cop. James Flavin, George E.Stone, Harry Fleer, Warren Parker, and Milton Parsons all balanced this generally quiet cast.
Without letting the cat out of the bag, how about we simply say that yes, there is presumably a lesson to be scholarly here. If not the one as of now specified, “The Grass Always Looks Greener on the Other Side of the Fence!”, then what about, “Be Careful in What You Ask For, Because You Just May Get It!”Watch Twilight Zone : Season 3 , Episode 13 : Once Upon a Time Online
